Fans of “Hannah Montana” are treated with a short clip from the new and final season. Emily Osment’s Lilly Truscott announces Hannah Montana’s arrival at Malibu Pier. The pop star then dedicates one song to one lucky fan. The auto-tuned song “Are You Ready?” is a new piece actually crafted for the third season.
“Hannah Montana” will end after the fourth season wraps up because Miley Cyrus wants to move on from the Disney show. The production had been kicked off in January and as of late April, the cast and crew were down to filming the last 2 episodes. Disney ordered 11 episodes plus a one-hour finale, kicking it off in July and wrapping it up around early 2011.
There is no official date or synopsis yet released for the season opener but it’s known that one episode will be dedicated to military families. Real kids whose parents are deployed overseas were invited to the set and given an intimate concert that would be part of the show.
Meanwhile, guest star appearances are coming from Ray Liotta , Angus T. Jones , Sheryl Crow and Christine Taylor among others.

Miley Cyrus has brought her entourage and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth to Sony Studios in Culver City for “I Cant’ Be Tamed” video shoot. According to E! Online, the clip will offer something “edgy” with the Disney singer caught in a giant bird cage.
“Imagine ‘Party in the USA’ on steroids,” a source close to the production testified to the publication. “It will blow people away.” A sneak peek is offered through a picture posted on Twitter by a fan named Octaviusterry. It shows several dancers doing rehearsal for the filming with some of them captured inside the giant cage.
“I Cant’ Be Tamed” reportedly is the title track of Miley Cyrus’ next studio album which is due in June. In an interview with MTV, she said the album will have techno vibe, saying “It’s kind of poppier, but then it still has an edge. All of my music kind of has to. I think it’s really fun. It’s definitely a good summer CD. It’s good to blast in your car.”
The new album will be Miley’s last effort before she takes a hiatus from making music and focusing on her acting career. “I just want to kind of do all different types of music, same as I do with movies. I never want to get stuck in a rut and just do one thing,” she reasoned.
In another news, Miley Cyrus confirmed that she will host this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards on June 20 in Toronto. “I’m so excited to co-host the MuchMusic Video Awards. I can’t wait to get back to Canada and perform for all of my fans. It’s going to be an awesome night!” she said.

We’re nearing the premiere of Hannah Montana‘s inevitable conclusion, and that only means the network will be releasing so many bonus features of the show via DVD. Associated Content reports that the final season of the Disney Channel series marks the release of this special disc on March 9, featuring favorite moments and an incredible surprise.
Apparently, the Hannah Montana: Miley Says Goodbye DVD will be showcasing the finale of the series, along with an alternate ending for fans to enjoy. If anyone decides to pre-order it from Amazon.com, they’ll manage to see the series’ conclusion even before it hits television screens.
The basic rundown of the DVD is that it follows Miley as she makes her big decision regarding her rockstar life in Malibu and a return to Tennessee with her favorite horse. If you look at the front cover of the thing, you see the star with her pet Blue Jeans. Could that possibly be a clue?
Hannah Montana: Miley Says Goodbye consists of 6 episodes from the Disney Channel comedy, with the epic finale that her fans await. There are also guest stars dominating the scene, from Cody Linley to American Idol’s David Archuleta.
As for the bonus features, there’s Sister Secrets and Hannah’s Highlights. The former is an in-depth look at the character through the eyes of Miley’s real life sister, while the latter covers the best bits of the show.
The alternate ending doesn’t exactly point to the protagonist leading her double life entirely. That feature is for the episode “He Could be the One,” which takes another look at Miley’s love life. Her romantic interest Jake returns to scene, so that’s definitely another big decision for her.

It’s really over for Hannah Montana
now that its star, Miley Cyrus, is moving on. She’s keeping busy with her latest movie and whipping up music for it, especially since she’s starring alongside her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, for the flick. With The Last Song opening this March, there’s bound to be plenty of promotions to increase the hype.
Aside from the many trailers and the behind-the-scenes snippets given by the 17-year-old star herself, we have the first music video for the movie. The Hannah Montana pop sensation is trying out a slower, deeper tune this time, with the song “When I Look at You.”
It certainly seems like Miley Cyrus is going for a more mature sound to match her desire to get more mature roles. The Last Song was specifically written for her by novelist Nicholas Sparks, so it looks like she’s truly leaving her Hannah Montana and Disney Channel past behind.
Seeing Liam Hemsworth by her side as she plays the piano on the clip below, you can bet this actress has really found that so-called inspiration she refers to at the beginning of the song. The two of them seem absolutely happy in one another’s company, and that’s not just when the cameras are rolling.
Miley talked about the single for The Last Song on a sneak peek of the movie, saying it was just ideal for the movie. “‘When I Look at You’ was actually a song that was going to go on my next record,” the star announced. “We listened to it and went, ‘Oh my gosh, this could not be more perfect.’ It describes the entire movie.”
Well, we won’t be seeing the film until March 31, but we have the video for “When I Look at You” below. Obviously, Miley Cyrus is having fun doing this for a living.
Now that Hannah Montana has been given an expiration date, actress Miley Cyrus needs other ventures to keep her busy. But these projects come easily for her, like fanmail.
We all know the 17-year-old star is starring in the Nicholas Sparks-penned movie The Last Song later this year. Joining her is boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who will of course be playing her love interest on the big screen. The two of them recently sat down to give viewers a sneak peek to their film, which will be showing in theaters this April.

Along for the ride are other actors from the movie, one of which is Greg Kinnear, as Miley’s dad who tries to connect with her after many years. Meanwhile, her mother will be portrayed by Kelly Preston. The Last Song also stars Bobby Coleman, Hallock Beals, Nick Lashaway, Carly Chaikin, Nick Searcy, and Kate Vernon.

“The story of The Last Song is about this girl, Ronnie Miller, who kind of started going down the wrong path,” the star announced. “She’s trying to prove a point to her dad, but really, she’s just cheating herself.”
As for the romance bit of the film, Liam Hemsworth explains: “As they get to know each other better, they both open up more and he realizes how great this girl is.”
Miley also talked about the music for the movie, which is of course essential to it. The title already says so.
But what this movie really is about is the star’s departure from her Hannah Montana phase and transition into what she thinks is a more mature role. We’ll see if she pulls it off, when The Last Song hits theaters on April 2 this year.
