We’re nearing the premiere of Hannah Montana‘s inevitable conclusion, and that only means the network will be releasing so many bonus features of the show via DVD. Associated Content reports that the final season of the Disney Channel series marks the release of this special disc on March 9, featuring favorite moments and an incredible surprise.
Apparently, the Hannah Montana: Miley Says Goodbye DVD will be showcasing the finale of the series, along with an alternate ending for fans to enjoy. If anyone decides to pre-order it from Amazon.com, they’ll manage to see the series’ conclusion even before it hits television screens.
The basic rundown of the DVD is that it follows Miley as she makes her big decision regarding her rockstar life in Malibu and a return to Tennessee with her favorite horse. If you look at the front cover of the thing, you see the star with her pet Blue Jeans. Could that possibly be a clue?
Hannah Montana: Miley Says Goodbye consists of 6 episodes from the Disney Channel comedy, with the epic finale that her fans await. There are also guest stars dominating the scene, from Cody Linley to American Idol’s David Archuleta.
As for the bonus features, there’s Sister Secrets and Hannah’s Highlights. The former is an in-depth look at the character through the eyes of Miley’s real life sister, while the latter covers the best bits of the show.
The alternate ending doesn’t exactly point to the protagonist leading her double life entirely. That feature is for the episode “He Could be the One,” which takes another look at Miley’s love life. Her romantic interest Jake returns to scene, so that’s definitely another big decision for her.
Anyway, you can see a sneak peek of the Hannah Montana: Miley Says Goodbye DVD below. According to the official Walt Disney Studios website, it’s from the season 3 finale of the series.

It’s really over for Hannah Montana
now that its star, Miley Cyrus, is moving on. She’s keeping busy with her latest movie and whipping up music for it, especially since she’s starring alongside her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, for the flick. With The Last Song opening this March, there’s bound to be plenty of promotions to increase the hype.
Aside from the many trailers and the behind-the-scenes snippets given by the 17-year-old star herself, we have the first music video for the movie. The Hannah Montana pop sensation is trying out a slower, deeper tune this time, with the song “When I Look at You.”
It certainly seems like Miley Cyrus is going for a more mature sound to match her desire to get more mature roles. The Last Song was specifically written for her by novelist Nicholas Sparks, so it looks like she’s truly leaving her Hannah Montana and Disney Channel past behind.
Seeing Liam Hemsworth by her side as she plays the piano on the clip below, you can bet this actress has really found that so-called inspiration she refers to at the beginning of the song. The two of them seem absolutely happy in one another’s company, and that’s not just when the cameras are rolling.
Miley talked about the single for The Last Song on a sneak peek of the movie, saying it was just ideal for the movie. “‘When I Look at You’ was actually a song that was going to go on my next record,” the star announced. “We listened to it and went, ‘Oh my gosh, this could not be more perfect.’ It describes the entire movie.”
Well, we won’t be seeing the film until March 31, but we have the video for “When I Look at You” below. Obviously, Miley Cyrus is having fun doing this for a living.

Just Jared Jr. reports that actor Jon Cryer will be a guest star on the said installment, and will be playing a crucial part in the series. He’s bagged the role of father to Lilly (Emily Osment), the best friend of the series’ lead character, Miley.
Most of us know the 44-year-old star as Alan Harper on the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men. He’s had bad luck in relationships there, and it seems like that’s carried on to his stint on the Disney Channel series.
On “The Wheel Near My Bed (Keeps On Turnin’)”, Cryer plays a harebrained dad to Lilly. We expect the two of them to get along though, considering how crazy this girl can get sometimes. Maybe it’s in the genes.
The Hannah Montana episode starts off with Lilly’s mom (guest star Heather Locklear) taking on a new job which requires her to travel to Atlanta. Since she’s left alone, Lilly has to find another place to stay.
Her best friend’s dad Robby Ray (Billy Ray Cyrus) invites her over to stay with the Stewarts, which seems a very exciting prospect at first. Unfortunately, things aren’t as pleasing for Miley (Miley Cyrus). You’d think she’d be happy to spend the night with her pal, but she complains to her dad about their living arrangements.
When Lilly overhears, she decides to move into the cramped apartment of her dad, Kenneth (Jon Cryer). Too bad his antics could be far worse than Miley’s,

Since the end of Hannah Montana
has been confirmed, there’s bound to be new projects out there for Disney star Miley Cyrus. According to a report by Variety, the 17-year-old pop sensation is currently in talks for a remake of the original French hit LOL: Laughing Out Loud. What’s more, it’s Demi Moore who will supposedly play her mother in the English-language version.
Miley Cyrus will be portraying the role of a 15-year-old girl who was recently dumped by her experienced boyfriend. In the hopes of moving on, she instead pursues his best friend. It’s also revenge, of course.
Meanwhile, Demi Moore will reportedly be the 40-year-old divorcee mom who is struggling to get on with her life. As a single parent, she has quite a lot on her plate. Her relationship with her daughter is fraught with trouble, and things just seem to be getting worse.
LOL: Laughing Out Loud also deals with the youth’s obsession with instant messaging, given the title of the film. It’s going to tie in with the mother-daughter story, certainly Miley Cyrus’ cup of tea.
The original version of the film starred Sophie Marceau and Christa Theret, hitting theaters in 2008. It managed to gross over $20 million. LOL: Laughing Out Loud was written and directed by Lisa Azuelos, who will also be handling the international version.
With Miley Cyrus on board, this remake is bound to be another commercial success for the Hannah Montana star. Since Demi Moore, another big name in Hollywood, is joining her, there’s no doubt LOL: Laughing Out Loud will be drawing in viewers.
It’s another step towards more mature roles for Miley Cyrus, since she’s just wrapped up filming for the Nicholas Sparks-penned movie The Last Song. She’s constantly proving that she’s not just limited to Disney roles, but can branch out into bigger projects.
It doesn’t seem like Justin Gaston is over Hannah Montana
star Miley Cyrus, but he’s certainly hoping to move on. The decline of their relationship was one of last year’s big issues in the entertainment world, but the model surely got something out of it – a song. What’s more, he’s pretty much gotten more famous thanks to his ties to the 17-year-old.
E! News managed to talk to the budding musician, since he released his debut single, a ballad titled “Paper Hearts”, recently. Rumor has it that the song was heavily influenced by Gaston’s breakup with Cyrus, but of course neither of them will address that directly.
Still, the 21-year-old Justin couldn’t help but recall the times he’s spent with the Hannah Montana singer. He even reacted to how hurt he felt after the two of them split.
“You can always tell when someone’s getting ready to leave you,” he said, “but you try so hard not to believe it and to hold on to every bit of hope that’s left.”
Keeping the melodrama alive, Justin Gaston went on: “I think everyone experiences the side of being hurt where you feel like you’ll never feel again.”
But despite some so-called hole in his heart that Miley Cyrus left behind, the pop sensation’s ex-boyfriend knows it’s best for him to just get on with his life. Even the song, “Paper Hearts,” is a testament to that.
“You realize that life goes on, and you move on. You look back at it and laugh,” Gaston exclaimed.
Part of his healing process seems to be a major career move. Disney Dreaming reported that Justin Gaston will be starring in an online reality series soon. The new show, titled If I Can Dream, was created by Simon Fuller. It follows a bunch of Hollywood hopefuls who will undergo training from celebrities as they try to achieve their dreams.

really is on its last legs. “The future is we are doing 11 more episodes,” the 48-year-old star revealed to Inside TV. “Disney will have new episodes to air all the way through 2011.”
A spokesperson from Disney recently announced that the cast is filming the final episodes of Hannah Montana, and after which will wrap up production for the show. Right now, the network is still airing season 3. Following that would be the installment leading to the series’ end.
Despite the arrival of the series’ final season, Billy Ray Cyrus has no trouble dealing with endings. He already took the opportunity to work on new material, which will certainly further him in his career.
During the premiere of his new flick The Spy Next Door, Billy Ray said, “Starting the year with [co-stars George] Lopez and Jackie Chan is a good way to do it.”
He added, “I laughed so much making this movie. I just stood around. I knew my lines and got to play this character Colton James, and become something very different for me, this particular role.”
When that’s over and done with though, Billy Ray Cyrus has things covered. “I have two more film projects after I finish ‘Hannah,’ and I am just excited about 2010,” he announced. Can’t say we’re really looking forward to it, but it still might be a commendable career move for the star.

star Miley Cyrus? Apparently not, but she might be getting there. Reports have surfaced that the 17-year-old pop sensation was spotted wearing a ring on her finger, and the news has escalated about her being engaged.
HollywoodLife.com was responsible for the photos, causing another stir for Miley. This time, it was for her jewelry and its placing. Though what they imply is far from likely.
Aussie star Liam Hemsworth is indeed Miley’s current boyfriend, but they won’t be tying the knot anytime soon. Still, they can’t hide their feelings for one another. An insider told E! Online that Cyrus is “totally in love” and even believes Liam is “the one.” Wasn’t this said about Justin Gaston and Nick Jonas before?
But the 19-year-old actor has his own stories to share about Miley, even though the two of them won’t walk down the aisle yet. They’re just getting closer to one another, and it’s all thanks to their movie.
“From the first day I met her, she’s so easy to be around and to work with, she’s such a normal person,” Liam Hemsworth told Australia’s NW magazine. “She’s so down to earth, you can think a lot of things about what she’s going to be like and how she’s going to be like to work with and it was nothing but good things.”
Even so, there’s a lot to put up with when you’re dating superstar Miley Cyrus. “I turned up on set on the first day and I saw just how big a star she was,” the actor explained. “One end of the beach was blocked off for photographers and the other end was blocked off for her fans.”
No wonder the two of them are set on keeping things private. If they do get married, we probably won’t even know about it. But we can’t expect any wedding bells soon.
The source revealed that Miley plans on “marrying young, but not at 17.” Well, next year’s always a possibility.

“The story of The Last Song is about this girl, Ronnie Miller, who kind of started going down the wrong path,” the star announced. “She’s trying to prove a point to her dad, but really, she’s just cheating herself.”
As for the romance bit of the film, Liam Hemsworth explains: “As they get to know each other better, they both open up more and he realizes how great this girl is.”
Miley also talked about the music for the movie, which is of course essential to it. The title already says so.
But what this movie really is about is the star’s departure from her Hannah Montana phase and transition into what she thinks is a more mature role. We’ll see if she pulls it off, when The Last Song hits theaters on April 2 this year.

Just like she hinted last year, Miley Cyrus will end her run as “Hannah Montana“. The show that started in 2006 and catapulted the starlet’s name into stardom will wrap it up in season 4 which was ordered by Disney Channel back in June 2009.
The comedy show starring also Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso is in its third season and will have its season finale called “Is Miley Saying Goodbye?” airing in mid March as a one-hour special. Miley will decide whether she should stay in Los Angeles or return to Tennessee.
It will be “a big one-hour event where we find out what Miley Stewart’s decision is going to be,” Disney Channel Worldwide programming exec Adam Bonnett said. Ray Liotta and Angus T. Jones are set to guest star.
The production of season 4 meanwhile will go in motion on January 18. The episodes will run until at least “over a full year”. The story will wrap up in a way similar to “Hannah Montana: The Movie“. Bonnett elaborated, “It’s one of the things she’s been wrestling with for months – whether it’s time to make a decision to continue being Hannah Montana or just be a regular, ordinary girl.”

for weeks now, but nothing beats hearing from the pop princess herself. Miley Cyrus admitted that she’s had it with all these tall tales about her, but she knows it won’t be stopping anytime soon. That’s why she’d rather discuss it all herself.
“People like controversy because that’s what sells,” the Disney juggernaut told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview. She appeared on the magazine’s front cover and talked about many issues that have hit her in the past. From the Vanity Fair shoot to the simple deletion of a social networking account, there’s plenty that Miley Cyrus has to say.
On her work with photographer Annie Leibovitz where the teen star was wrapped in a bed sheet, Miley explained: “Here, my parents are thinking they’re seeing a beautiful picture by a major photographer, and the people of America want to see something dirty in that?”
“It doesn’t make sense to us because [my family] doesn’t look for negativity,” she added. “[...] No one wants to look at something like that and see the positive because it doesn’t sell a magazine.”
Being a public figure certainly has its disadvantages, and the Hannah Montana star is aware of them. It’s the fact that millions of children look up to her making her a bit uneasy, but she believes that she isn’t the one raising other people’s kids.
“My job is to be a role model, and that’s what I want to do, but my job isn’t to be a parent,” Cyrus explained. “My job isn’t to tell your kids how to act or how not to act, because I’m still figuring that out for myself. So to take that away from me is a bit selfish. Your kids are going to make mistakes whether I do or not. That’s just life.”
Living her own life is what Miley’s more concerned about, and a big part of it is her future. Many fans know about her upcoming flick The Last Song, which Cyrus is certainly proud of. But as for her next projects, she wants something better, something deeper.
“I want to do edgier movies–movies where you walk away feeling fulfilled,” she said. Talking about her music, the star added, “I’m doing a record right now that’s another pop record, and then I want to come out with an album that’s really who I am.”
