Miley Cyrus, not bothered by the recent controversy surrounding a photo of her private part, appeared before David Letterman to talk about the latest in her life. Beside promoting her album “Can’t Be Tamed” which is coming in stores June 21, she also talked about personal things with the host on the Thursday, June 17 appearance of “Late Show with David Letterman“.

Cyrus basically joked around with Letterman regarding issues such as Twitter, matured too quickly and doing lipsync during life concerts. The 17-year-old pop star said no to all three, claiming she doesn’t like the microblogging site, she enjoys every step of the way into stardom and she sounds awful when singing live sometimes.

Cyrus taped her appearance on the late night talk show earlier that day. Her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and her mother Tish were all there to support her. She gave time for paparazzi to snap her pictures outside the studio and took time to give fans autographs.

Hannah Montana episode 3.2 “Ready, Set, Don’t Drive” airs on the Disney Channel Sunday, November 9th. Sundays in November are all about Hannah Montana! Check out the schedule here.

Although she’s hoping to be the first in her class to drive, Miley fails her driver’s license test.  She then successfully schemes for a pass by returning to the exam office as Hannah Montana, wowing the star-struck clerk.  But when Miley accidentally drives for miles with her turn signal on, she’s pulled over by a police officer, shows Hannah Montana’s license and is taken into custody until she can convince the police officer and his daughter, Kelsey, that she’s really Hannah Montana.  Meanwhile, it’s every man for himself with Rico as a house guest at the Stewarts.  The episode guest stars Sydney Park (”That’s So Raven”) as Kelsey, Ernie Grunwald (”The Suite Life of Zack and Cody”) as the driving instructor and Wayne Wilderson (”The Office”) as Officer DiAria.

Miley is using her Hannah Montana star power to try to get a driver’s license. Sounds like a funny episode! I imagine Jackson is ready for Miley to drive, since he’s the one that has to drive her all over the place.

A different Lindsay sent her experience in: There were games and fun little areas were you could take a picture with a cardboard Miley. The kids were loving the Hannah Montana makeovers.

The concert started at 8:30 with Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus who performed four then Ache Breaky Heart”with Justin Gaston and Brandi. Miley finally came out and performed four songs as well See U Again, Fly On The Wall, Breakout and Girls Night Out GNO. It was cute.

I saw Miley and her family come out of The Hungry Bear restaurant by Splash Mountain. ALL of these security guards started running towards her and her family so nobody could see her really. Justin was standing hand and hand with Miley they whole time.

I ended up, due to the mob of people, inside the Cyrus family party with the security guards around me and my friend as well. We had an escort to Pirates where Miley and her family then went to the room above Pirates. Miley was really sweet; I was able to say hi.

What better way to spend the weekend? Miley Cyrus had lots of fun with family and friends at a visit to the post office and then the closest coffee shop this weekend. Miley looks like a regular cute 15 year-old…

But as you can see, Miley still has that dangerous phone with her and I bet she was delighted to show off her latest racy photos to everyone she could find. Miley is probably wondering “Where is my friendly hacker when you need him?”
