We reported weeks ago that the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star is in talks to appear on the sequel to the Sex and the City movie, but not a lot of you commented on that possibility. Let me just say, how very Miley of you all.
It was doubtful that the rumor is indeed true, despite Miley Cyrus admitting to being a fan of the HBO series. Lately she’s kept mum about the whole deal, particularly when she zipped her lips when MTV News caught up with her during her tour.
Sources close to the production have revealed that the Disney princess might just hit New York to film her cameo for the film, which is currently in production. When asked about her Sex and the City involvement, Miley asked her publicist: “Can we talk about that?”
When there was no go-signal, the Hannah Montana star merely said, “Ah, zipped tight.”
But this week, Gossipcop had some words that the musician might consider using. An exclusive report confirms the news that she will indeed have a role on the Sex and the City sequel, playing herself.
The current script for the film states that Miley will be in a scene with Kim Catrall’s character. The two of them find that they’re wearing the same dress to a red carpet event, since Samantha Jones bought an outfit to look “hot and young.”
The outspoken Anthony (Mario Cantone) spots the two and exclaims “Mother of God: She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana.” Despite that, Miley Cyrus doesn’t have any lines so far.
The report goes on to say that all of this is still in the planning phase as of now, but Miley’s people are doing their best to make it happen . Even though she’s currently on tour, she might just make a stop at New York to film the Sex and the City sequel.

star’s appearance on The Jay Leno Show wasn’t as controversial as you might expect from her. Even the host of the program tried his best to cause a bit of controversy with his queries, but Miley Cyrus kept things mild.
Trying to throw her off track, one question Jay Leno quickly asked was “Who’s your favorite Jonas brother?” Unfortunately for the Niley fans, she dodged any answer that would hint at a romantic reunion.
“I’m going to go with Frankie, the little one,” the 16-year-old popstar said.
Jay Leno had Miley for his “10@10″ feature, which means he had ten questions ready for her during her appearance. Another quick inquiry was regarding Miley’s new nickname, but even though the fans would like to know why, the discussion wasn’t too detailed.
“Recently I got the nickname spider-monkey,” Miley revealed. She didn’t go on to explain, but instead answered another question with more gusto. Yep, it was regarding the hugely publicized Kanye West at the MTV VMAs incident.
As many of her fans know, Miley is a friend of singer Taylor Swift. The Hannah Montana
musician gave her opinion on the matter, telling Leno what she’d do if she was the victim of Kanye West’s insensitivity.
“I would’ve said, ‘Rude, disrespectful,’ but I think I just would’ve had to tell him to let me finish my speech,” Miley declared. ‘So I’m glad she got to do that.”
Now that she’s headlining yet another tour this year, the Disney juggernaut is really getting busier. But if she had the chance to take on another profession, she admitted about her desire to organize weddings.
“I’d be a wedding planner. I decided that the other day. I heard somebody putting their wedding together the other day and I was like, yikes, I need to take over.”
Finally speaking out against rumors, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has debunked all tales of her dating actor Liam Hemsworth. We may have thought she hooked up with her The Last Song co-star since they were spotted locking lips in an airport in Tennesee. However, the 16-year-old star has decided to explain herself at last and stated that she’s currently single.
According to Contact Music, the Disney sensation is simply too busy to have a relationship right now. Hasn’t that excuse been overused already? Plus, it’s hardly believable. Even Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron have their schedules packed and yet they find time for one another.
Anyway, here’s what pop singer Miley Cyrus said: “There are a lot of people I’m supposedly dating these days. But I’m just kicking it right now, I don’t really have time for a huge relationship. There’s no dude.”
As of these days, she isn’t seeing much of Justin Gaston or Nick Jonas. Unfortunately, she can’t exactly tell us that there are no guys in her present. On her last Twitter posts, she constantly refers to Jesus and her father these days. That means we can’t rule these two out just yet.
“I wish just once I could look out into the crowd and he would be sitting in the front row singing along,” Miley Cyrus wrote. “I miss you.”
She immediately followed it up with: “Regarding my last tweet. Yes it was about a boy. The one who never lets me down. The one who always makes me smile. My Pappy.”
A few days later, Cyrus admitted that she’s just “spending time with Jesus,” right before heading to Portland for another gig. “First shows are always the best/worst,” she said. “Best because all excitement & anxiety is released on to stage for the first time. Worst because wardrobe changes don’t always go as planned.”
Well, maybe she really is too busy for a boy right now. Then again, we can never tell with Miley Cyrus, can we?
Ten months ago, an episode of “Hannah Montana” failed to go on air because parents are complaining that it doesn’t portray diabetes in the right way. Good news comes from Disney Channel that the episode called “Sugar, No Sugar” will eventually make it on air under the new title “Uptight (Oliver’s Alright)”.
The episode is about Oliver dealing with the diagnosis that he got diabetes. “Our idea was that Oliver had a really bad case of diabetes and he couldn’t eat any sugar and then a lot of the people were saying, ‘No, people with diabetes can still eat sugar. This is wrong! You’re teaching kids wrong messages’,” Mitchel Musso who plays Oliver said back then.
Airing on September 20, the episode is slightly altered although the story contains some truth after all. “But it’s not wrong,” Mitchel added. “There are people out there who cannot have sugar. That’s just the way of life.”
In its statement, Disney said “We sincerely hope you will find that this revised story more accurately incorporates the subject of living with Type 1 diabetes, with the theme of the character Oliver learning to rely on his friends for support, no matter what challenges may arise.”
Disney sensation Hannah Montana (Miley Cryus) hits the big screen in the hit “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” Hannah’s living up the superstar lifestyle. After getting into a hilarious shoe fight with Tyra Banks, and upsetting her BFF Lily, Papa Stewart has had enough. He packs up Miley’s bags and they head to Crowley Corners, Tennessee to see what is really important in life… family.
Miley must make the most important decision of her life stay Hannah, be Miley or have the best of best worlds. After meeting childhood friend Travis, she is not sure if she can keep up her façade as Hananh. Papa Stewart banned Miley from being Hannah Montana on this trip, however, an evil land developer has plotted to turn Crowley Corners into strip malls, Hannah must come back to save the day.
I had so much fun watching this movie and wish more movies were like this one. It was a pleasure to see something that was wholesome, cute, as well as a bit romantic. The movie showed that films can still be great even if they don’t have violence, nudity, harsh language, and sex.
“Hannah Montana: The Movie” had a great message as well. The main message is that we should not get caught up with the so-called Hollywood lifestyle. We should always value friends and family before anything else and always be ourselves. It’s definitely a positive message for children, teens and adults to take away as sometimes people get carried away with themselves and pretend to be people that they are not.
Miley Cyrus has been questioned by lately by parents due to her “pole dancing” antics and outfit choice on the Teen Choice Awards. They are considering if she is still a good role model for young teens. All I have to say is that the girl is growing up and growing up in an adult world, as she is making more money than most working adults. Parents have to remember that Miley is attempting to make a name for herself as Miley and not Hannah Montana, though she is still doing the TV show. My solution to parents is let your child look up to her as Hannah, if you don’t like Miley then simply don’t let your kids watch award shows or attend her concerts. Hannah is who is in your child’s heart.
While Cyrus is a questionable role model for young children, she is an amazing actress who is going to come very far in her future. She brings out a joy and innocence and has a lot going for her. In “Hannah Montana” she was able to go through many emotions and struggles, and the audience is definitely able to feel these emotions that she is going through. Miley’s career is definitely taking off this year, with “The Last Song” slated for January 2010 and a possible cameo in “Sex and the City 2.” She is also going on her first tour as Miley and has just released her hit song, “Party in the USA.”
“Hannah Montana: The Movie”, though sometimes it borderlines into old-school slapstick humor, is a great, heartfelt film to watch with friends, family, or on a night in. It is a blast and filled with so much laughter, emotions, music, and drama that you won’t be able to resist. Take a break from your stresses and rock on to “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”

star, as there’s been a back-and-forth exchange between her and ex-beau Justin Gaston.
We all thought we heard the last of him when they broke up back in October last year, but like a bad movie, he’s back with a sequel. The 20-year-old underwear model who captured the popstar’s heart posted a totally general message on his account. Unfortunately for him, Miley took it to heart and picked a fight.
“People mistake stupidity for bravery way to easily,” Justin began. Well then, it was brave of him to forgo good grammar. Then again, it’s Twitter and the Internet. Good grammar is hardly ever a priority anymore. Sad.
Anyway, the 16-year-old Miley Cyrus tweeted back: “Yeah. I love when people mistake bravery with writing a few stupid tweets trying to make it seem like they don’t care. You’re afraid to love.”
She followed it up with, “Every step I take I am in hopes to get closer to you. Please don’t leave and if you do can I follow? Against all odds I fell in love.”
Last week, there was more drama on their Twitters. Miley posted: “am in between happy and sad today. I’m happy because I love you. I’m sad because I can’t get enough of you.”
Justin Gaston also updated with: “Just recorded a demo. Now I’m sitting on the couch wondering why we as humans try to pretend everything’s OK when it isn’t. Just be real.”
The Disney princess didn’t back down easily as she replied, “Everything IS ok. Honestly. I can’t change you’re mind and your heart no longer belongs to me. Maybe YOU’RE the one pretending you’re fine.”
Well, let’s just see what happens next then. Miley bullying her ex is simply too exciting to miss.
One more promo is released for a special episode of “Hannah Montana” which is airing on July 5. This time the promo shows more of Miley’s dilemma when she is forced to choose between her old flame, Jake Ryan and the bad boy, Jesse.
Miley tries to tell Robby that she is dating Jake Ryan again, but he then believes that she is hiding something from him. Miley then tries to make her dad be thankful for Jake, and she pretends to date his bad boy band mate Jesse, until her dad tries to make Miley listen to her heart.
The special episode is divided into two parts with the first one airing at 8/7c. Guest starring in the episode are Brooke Shields as Miley’s mom, Cody Linley as Jake and Malese Jow as Rachel.
She may be only 16, but Miley Cyrus is proving quite the veteran when it comes to posing for controversial photos. In a new picture posted on micro-blogging site Twitter, the teen star smoulders and pouts in a tight vest and shorts as she straddles a chair in a dressing room. The suggestive photo was taken by film-maker Adam Shankman, who is producing the Hannah Montana star’s new film The Last Song.
In another image, Miley pulls a sexy face as she sidles up to 44-year-old Adam, who is openly gay. Hairspray director Adam posed the pictures, which were taken on location in Georgia, on his Twitter site.
Defending the images, Adam said: ‘Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room. ‘Seriously. Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics. She’s like my angel little sister.’ These new shots are just the latest in a string of controversial photos featuring the young star.
In previous pictures posted on her MySpace social networking site, Miley has been seen in her underwear and offended Asian fans when she appeared to pull a ‘slant-eye’ pose. Last year, Miley apologised and admitted she was ‘embarrassed’ over her topless pose for acclaimed photographer Annie Liebovitz in Vanity Fair magazine.
The teenager, who was 15 at the time, appeared to be topless as she pose with just a cream sheet across her chest.
Following the outcry from family groups and outraged parents, she said: ‘I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. ‘I never intended for this to happen and I apologise to my fans. The pictures of me on the internet were silly, inappropriate shots.’
In The Last Song, Miley plays a troubled teenager who discovers herself when she spends the summer in Georgia with her estranged father, played by As Good As It Gets star Greg Kinnear.
John Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston also stars in the film as the mother of Miley’s character Ronnie. Meanwhile, as well as filming her new movie, Miley has rekindled her relationship with childhood sweetheart Nick Jonas, from the Jonas Brothers. The youngsters originally dated for two years, but split when they were 15. Miley split from underwear model Justin Gaston, 20, earlier this month.
The couple were reported to have started dating when Miley was 15, but only confirmed their relationship after her 16th birthday last November. After spending time in Georgia with Nick, 16, two weeks ago, Miley is pining for her pop star beau on location.
Writing on her Twitter pages in recent days, she wrote: ‘If you’re a bird, then I’m a bird. I miss you. I can’t sleep… I miss you… yes you. ‘Not the “you” that you think I “love” but you.’
Miley Cyrus performed at the 2009 Annual Shareholders meeting for Wal*Mart, which was held at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, AR. Now I know why she tweeted that she was going to Arkansas!
Other stars at the event included American Idol winner Kris Allen, Ben Stiller, Paulina Rubio and KISS band member Gene Simmons. Miley was rockin’ some black leather pants and a British flag t-shirt. The “Hannah Montana” star will beheading off to Georgia any day now to start filming “The Last Song’.
She also supported her “Hannah Montana” co-star and best friend Mitchel Musso at The Grove in Los Angeles for his concert. She tweeted at the event, Stoked to rock out with @mitchelmusso. I got stuck at a business meeting but I will not miss my little punks concert!”
During an intermission at the concert, Radio Disney host Ernie D called Debby Ryan and Tiffany Thornton to the stage to do the Hoedown Throwdown. I wish I could have seen that!
At the end, Miley joined Mitchel on stage for his last song.
