“Hannah Montana: The Movie” will be different from its original TV series, “Hannah Montana“. Discussing the matter with MTV News, one of the movie stars Mitchel Musso shared, “It has a lot more drama. There’s a lot of sentimental things [in the script] that came from [Miley Cyrus'] heart and Billy Ray [Cyrus]‘s heart, because that’s where they live. They shot in all the areas they used to hang out in.”
Exposing more about it when being interviewed on the red carpet for the world premiere of “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience”, the actor who plays Oliver pointed out, “It’s a little bit more mature, but still very family friendly.” He further explained the plot, saying “Miley doesn’t want to be Hannah Montana. She wants to go back [home] and be her own thing, and falls in love with a boy there and doesn’t want to leave.”
Though picking up a heavier topic than the TV series, the movie will still provide ticklish scenes as Musso revealed his favorite scene in the movie. “I think my favorite scene was when I blow up a cake all over the place,” he recalled the first day he was on the movie’s set. “Lily [played by Emily Osment], Miley’s best friend, has this 5-foot-tall cake.”
“Of course, it’s not a real bomb. But I hadn’t seen the cast in a year-and-a-half, and the first day of filming was just watching them get covered in cake from me,” he continued. “I was just watching it, all squeaky clean. They had these 3-foot-wide cannons, filled with ice cream and cake and stuff to shoot all over them! It was hilarious. I’m sorry Miley and Emily and Billy Ray!”
“Hannah Montana: The Movie” will revolve around Miley Stewart when her popularity as Hannah Montana starts to take a toll on her life. With her identity as the pop-star persona threatening to take over her life, her father takes her home to Crowley Corners, Tennessee for a dose of reality, forcing her to figure out what’s really important in her life.
The comedy movie from Walt Disney Pictures stars Miley Cyrus as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana and is supported by Billy Ray Cyrus, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles and Emily Osment among others. Taylor Swift and Tyra Banks will also join them in the cast. Directed by Peter Chelsom, it will be debuted in the U.S. theaters on April 10.

“Hannah Montana” will return full speed in March and a promo for the episodes airing on the particular month has been released. Starting March 1, the show will air its episodes weekly on Sundays, kicking it off with “Welcome to the Bungle”.
In the episode, Hannah says that she dislikes carrots on the “Mack and Mickey” show so her fans stop eating them. She returns to the program to explain herself, but ends up making things worse. Meanwhile, Jackson and Oliver model for a brochure but find out that they weren’t chosen to model for the reason they thought they were chosen.
On other news, David Archuleta has confirmed himself that he will appear in an episode of “Hannah Montana” later this season. He has shot his part in L.A. last week and said that Miley Cyrus is “cool”.

It has been confirmed by David Archuleta himself that he will appear as a guest star in an episode of “Hannah Montana“. The runner up for “American Idol” seventh season raved about his experience filming his cameo in L.A. last week for the series starring Miley Cyrus.
“It was another thing I was really nervous about and wasn’t really sure about at first,” he wrote on his blog live from Virginia. “However, once I got there I had a great time! Everyone there was fun and Miley was a cool person to hang out with. She has a lot of energy and is really funny haha. Getting to watch how they rehearsed the scenes for the show was really cool too.”
Archuleta then admitted that he has never watched the show prior to his stint but said that it’s so “funny watching the other scenes”. He continued, “I think it’ll be fun to see how the whole show runs altogether, because it was just cool to see how great of actors the other kids were.”
No episode or date of his cameo are mentioned. This would be his second appearance as a guest star in a TV series for previously he had appeared in an episode of “iCarly” as himself.
David Archuleta is in the middle of promoting his self-titled debut album in a tour that will run through May in Europe.
